Performance Group Policies

Each performance group has a unique set of policies and expectations for its dancers.  These policies are updated annually.

Policies are shaped in part by comments and feedback from dancers and parents. You can participate in this process by filling in a customer service survey. Blank surveys are located in the upstairs lobby, and you can drop off a completed survey at the front office at any time.

If you have questions about the policies or other concerns, or you would like to schedule a meeting, please contact a member of the Performance Groups management team:

PC Policies and Release Form

Each year, we ask that you read all of the PC policies and expectations and then express your commitment to honor the policies by signing the PC Release Form.  There have been several changes to the policies this year, so you should completely and thoroughly read the policies before signing the Release.

General Policies and Expectations

Listed below are the general policies and expectations for PC students and their parents.  These policies apply to all regular, scheduled PC group classes.  The policies do not apply to classes that require separate registration and payment such as Elite Acro, Flex, Pointe, Hip-Hop Companies, Ballet Company, PC Modern or “Rec” classes, nor do they apply to solos or duo/trio groups.  Please read these policies carefully and be sure to ask questions if you don’t understand something.

Rewards for Commitment

Privileges are earned by students who make a strong commitment to Westside and who make PC the top priority. Whether dance is your only extracurricular activity or part of a long list of activities, we feel that you have earned certain privileges by putting your dance education first. The policies listed below detail these privileges.

In addition, these policies include special privileges that apply only to PC dancers who attend high school.  These special privileges benefit students who have been committed to the PC for most of their childhood, but who now wish to experience other activities and can no longer commit to a full time PC schedule.

PC Release Form

After you have read the PC policies, and you fully understand and agree to all of the policies and expectations, please complete and sign the PC Release Form.  Your signature on this form indicates your commitment to honor the PC policies in their entirety.
